ABT Audi AS3 Sportback
At its first public appearance during the DTM-season highlight on the Norisring, Audi's new A3 Sportback garnered much attention. Before a crowd of over 100,000 spectators, the five-door car moved around the grandstands displaying the sporty elegance of the model. Audi wishes to achieve new levels of athletics and driving pleasure in the premium compact class with the new representative. Abt Sportsline lends a helping hand with their specially developed suspension springs, lowering the Sportback by 35 to 40 millimetres and improving the connection to the roads.
Abt's choice of sport wheels provides the vehicle with an individually personalised look and better traction. Customers can choose between the Z6 — 8 x 18 inch model — or the SP1, which won an award for its 8.5 x 19 inch size. Both come with Abt's famous quality and distinct design.
To match the striking exterior, Abt adds a rear muffler and two stainless-steel pipes, as well as a leather-and-aluminium shift knob and a floor mat set for the interior. Further body parts and power upgrades for the 1.9 and 2.0 TDI engines are already in the works.
