ABT Audi AS4 Avant
Audi had a clear statement that the new A4 Avant is far more than just a nice station wagon. And Abt Sportsline's version of the model, the Abt AS4 Avant, confirms this to 100%. It offers powerful performance, and elegant aerodynamic body parts that elevates the station wagon into a noble sports car.
The Abt-engineers have modified the motor management for the 1.9 TDI, the 2.0 TDI and the 3.0 TDI to produce explosive 140 HP and 170 HP respectively. After the upgrade, the top model 3.0 TDI quattro possess an impressive 252 HP and a torque of 505 Nm. This translates to a zero to 100 km/h sprint time of 7.5 seconds, and a top speed of 243 km/h. Moreover, there is an upgrade of 230 HP for the 2.0T FSI version that is in development.
Tuned suspension kits that are progressively operating and adjustable in height are also available. This enhances the driving dynamics and lowers the body by approximately 40 millimetres.
The sporty character of the Abt AS4 Avant is further expressed through its looks. Various aerodynamic body parts including a shapely Abt-front spoiler lip, broad side skirts and rear wing give the station wagon an aggressive and powerful impression. To complete the whole look, the car can be equipped with wheels from 16 to 19 inch with tyres from technology partners Dunlop or Continental.
