Already after the first photos, test drives, and impressions it became clear that Audi's new A6 is a big hit. Abt Sportsline takes this success one step further by giving the figurehead of the luxury class a more agile, dynamic, and enjoyable look and feel. Following the advertising slogan for the new A6, "Imaginative and Engaging," the company's engineers and designers have created variations of the car that turn heads.
The AS6's purpose is simple; it is meant to be closely related to the successful Audi A8 and be the sportiest car in its class. Its impressive wide track and SP rims give it even more power and presence, and the four chromed Abt mufflers convey its capacity. An Abt rear spoiler on the boot is also fitted to considerably improve driving characteristics. An added front spoiler lip produces a more individual style, while side skirts underline the vehicle's dynamical design. To complete the AS6's design, Abt Sportsline equips it with Abt sport wheels SP1, dimension 8.5x19, or A25/A26 size 8.5 x 18, all with a traditional five-spoke design.
Not to mention, Abt Sportsline also addresses performance. With a sport suspension kit and a power upgrade for the three-litre diesel engine among their modifications, the AS6 offers more dynamics and more torque. And thanks to their close relationship with Ingolstadt that dates back decades, Abt was one of the first tuners to feature the AS6 - a testament to their success which continues in motor sport as they lead the Audi A4 DTM as the official works team.
