Abt Sportsline has designed an aerodynamics program for the Touran, including a front grill, frontspoiler lip, and a rear wing that provide a sporty look. Through the use of Abt suspension springs, the Touran can be lowered by 35-40 millimetres, making the vehicle look more sleek and stylish. The DTM-Champion 2002 has also developed power upgrades for the Touran 1.9 TDI and 2.0 TDI engines, upping the standard motor performances from 74 kW (100 HP) or 100 kW (136 HP) to 92 kW (125 HP) and 125 kW (170 HP) respectively.
