AC Schnitzer has developed an expanded special accessory range for the BMW M3 to further optimize its already excellent performance. The AC Schnitzer rear differential significantly enhances the car's agility, offering modified gear ratio of 3.91:1 and a "true power stage" 6th gear for an earlier top speed. Additionally, a new AC Schnitzer Racing Interior Conversion has been developed. It includes lightweight, high-strength racing seats with suede upholstery, embroidered AC Schnitzer logo and a 4-point harness system. This conversion is completed by an AC Schnitzer roll bar for improved body rigidity and an extra safety reserve. All components can be fitted individually, preserving the stock 3-point safety belt.
At the core of the special tuning range are specially developed suspension components. Drivers of the BMW M3 can choose between a sports comfort setting in the AC Schnitzer sports suspension or a racing suspension with adjustable set-up and ride height. The sports suspension lowers the car by 25 mm and the racing suspension provides a lowering of 30 - 35 mm, all while ensuring suitability for everyday use.
