AC Schnitzer Tension M6 Concept

The AC Schnitzer Tension M6 Concept is the perfect embodiment of tension - both physically and psychologically. From a physical perspective, tension describes a force within a resilient body, symbolised as s, that acts in an imaginary section plane. Mechanically, it is the force per surface unit which works through a body, fluid or gas. Psychologically, tension implies an anticipation of a future event, which may be something to long for or fear. The idea of tension also serves as a tool for playwrights and authors to arouse the curiosity of viewers and readers, making them want to read and watch on. The AC Schnitzer Tension M6 Concept car showcases these different definitions put together, based on nothing but the BMW M6's sheer power. An incredible 507 HP (now 406 kW / 552 HP after performance upgrade) was amplified by optimising the engine management system, and installing a new AC Schnitzer exhaust manifold system with special catalyst, sports rear silencer and chromed tailpipe trims in a "Sports Trim Design". Moreover, its maximum torque of 540 Nm at 6200 rpm enabled it to reach a speed of 100 km/h in an impressive 4.5 seconds, with a Vmax delimiter that let it continue to accelerate up to 325 km/h where driving conditions allow.
