AC Schnitzer ACS6 6Series E63 Coupe
The years of waiting has finally reached an end. The new BMW 6-series Coupe is here; a vehicle so remarkable, the question of whether it can follow the legendary coupes of the 70s and 80s simply doesn't arise. Despite its excellence, AC Schnitzer is currently developing a special accessories range to perfect the 6-series in all its qualities. In the first stage of development work, AC Schnitzer adapted its alloy and racing wheels for the new 6-series. This includes the Type III wheels and the new Type IV design, both of which are available today. Moreover, AC Schnitzer has created an impressive wheel tyre combination of 9.0J x 20" on the front with tyres 245/35 R 20 and on the rear axle 10.0J x 20" with tyres 285/30 R 20, which improve the driving dynamics of the 6-series Coupe.
Furthermore, AC Schnitzer has also developed a sports suspension to further enhance the 6-series’ performance. This suspension not only lowers the vehicle by about 25mm, but also increases its stiffness for improved performance while keeping a comfortable ride quality. AC Schnitzer has also designed a unique aerodynamic conversion consisting of a lowered front spoiler, side skirt inserts, rear spoiler and rear skirt to finish the look of the vehicle. A double sports rear silencer with chromed tailpipes in Trap-Ment form optimises gas flow and gives the V8 an especially sonorous sound.
In the interior, AC Schnitzer has built an exclusive atmosphere with its carbon fibre interior trim in silver, an ergonomically designed airbag sports steering wheel, and its aluminium accessories for the i-Drive system controller.
