Acura Integra 1990 posters

Acura Integra

The Acura Division of American Honda unveiled the second-generation 1990 Integra sports sedans earlier this year. This new line of vehicles includes both a 3-door hatchback and a 4-door sedan body style, as well as a GS trim level for each. An Anti-Lock Braking (ALB) system - seldom found in cars in this price range - is featured in the GS model. The sporty, wedge-shaped Integras have been designed with computer-aided design (CAD) techniques, and are equipped with a 1.8-liter DOHC fuel-injected engine for 130 horsepower. The cars have an aerodynamic coefficient of drag rating of 0.32 (3-door) and 0.34 (4-door). The design of the car allows for over 320 degrees of visibility for the driver, thanks to its slim pillars and sashless doors. The engine is an all-aluminum 4-cylinder with dual overhead camshafts, 4-valves-per-cylinder and Programmed Fuel Injection, providing 130 horsepower at 6000 rpm and 121 lbs.-ft. of torque at 5000 rpm. The cars also feature a 4-wheel double-wishbone suspension and a new, speed-sensitive variable-assist power steering system for optimal control and handling.
