At the New York International Auto Show today, Acura unveiled the all-new and second-generation Acura TSX sports sedan. This updated version boasts a new engine, a refined drivetrain, and Acura's Keen Edge Dynamic styling.
"The 2009 TSX has taken a big bite out of the Big Apple with its powerful looks and performance," said Dick Colliver, executive vice president of sales. "Along with improved performance and fuel economy, this model also features fewer emissions, added safety features, and more onboard technology than ever before."
Powered by a 2.4-liter DOHC VTEC® in-line 4-cylinder engine, the Acura TSX produces 201 hp and greater torque across a wider rpm range. The model also meets TIER 2-BIN 5 and CARB LEV II Ultra Low Emission Vehicle standards, making it a cleaner and more efficient drive.
The 2009 model features a sleek and sporty redesign, complete with Acura's signature grille. To increase interior space, the Acura TSX is now longer and wider and has a wider track and longer wheelbase than its predecessor. The model is also outfitted with an independent front and rear suspension with dual-stage dampers, enhancing its handling capabilities.
Standard equipment includes a power glass moonroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, leather seats, power windows/mirrors/locks, a premium 7-speaker sound system (including CD, AM/FM and XM® Radio), Bluetooth® HandsFreeLink®, and USB port and AUX jack music interface.
