The Alfa Romeo 159 sedan embodies refined Italian style with the "elegant sportiness" of Alfa Romeo, while the Alfa Romeo 159 Sportwagon combines the style and performance of a true sports car with the practicality and storage space of a family car. It comes with two new Euro 5 compliant engines from April: the 1.75 liter 200 HP TBi and the 2.0 liter 170 HP JTDM. The TBi provides a top speed of 235 km/h and 0-100 km/h acceleration in 7.7 seconds.
For a more aggressive look, the TI version has 19 inch alloy rims, lowered geometry, and red calipers on the big brakes. The interior features sports seats in leather with the Alfa Romeo logo, a leather-clad gear knob, and aluminum trim details. Standard equipment includes triple-zone climate control, VDC system with Electronic Q2, Blue&Me Nav GPS and entertainment system, Bose Hi-Fi system and Cruise Control.
The Sportwagon version on show is fitted with the 2.0 liter JTDM engine giving a top speed of 216 km/h and 0-100 km/h acceleration in 9 seconds. Its exterior is distinguished by exclusive 18 inch "Turbine" alloy rims. Inside, there's a leather-covered sports steering wheel, gear knob, and sports seats. The headlining, parcel shelf and pillar fairings are black for a sporty look, and the equipment includes triple-zone climate control, Cruise Control, VDC system, Bose Hi-Fi system, GPS system with phone and voice commands, and Visibility Pack.
