Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider

The Alfa Romeo Giulietta (series 750 and 101) was produced by the Italian automaker Alfa Romeo from 1954 to 1965. The initial Giulietta model was a coupé, the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint, launched in late 1954. This was then followed by a sedan in spring 1955 and the open two-seater Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider with Pininfarina-fabricated bodywork in mid 1955. The Alfa Romeo Giulietta featured an Alfa Romeo Twin Cam engine of 1290 cc straight-4, with an aluminium alloy cylinder block and alloy cylinder head equipped with dual overhead camshafts. The power output for the Giulietta sedan was 53 bhp, while that of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint reached 80 bhp and was increased to 100 bhp on later models such as the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Speciale and the Alfa Romeo Giulietta SZ (Sprint Zagato).
