Aston Martin DB4 GT

The Aston Martin DB4 GT was unveiled at the London Motor Show 1959. The car had Aston Martin's signature design, and was constructed using an innovative Superleggera body frame system by Carrozzeria Touring of Milan, featuring aluminium panels on supportive tubular frames. Although similar to the Aston Martin DB4, the DB4 GT included several modifications that created a distinct model. Five inches were cut from the wheelbase, making it nimbler and lighter - the engine was also updated with twin-plug head and 45DCO Webers, boosting the power output to a formidable 302bhp. For the first time in Aston Martin history, cowled headlights also made an appearance on the DB4 GT. Technical Specifications
