Aston Martin DB6 Volante SWB

The Aston Martin DB6 Volante was the first model to be called so, which translates to 'flying' in Italian. The car was made from the last 37 Aston Martin DB5s completed between October 1965 and October 1966. Considered an evolution of the DB4 and DB5, the DB6 was revealed at the London Motor Show in 1965. The DB6 was notable for its 'Kamm tail' spoiler, a higher roof of 136cm, and a 9.5cm longer wheelbase for an overall length of 462cm.
