Aston Martin DB9 Volante
The latest Aston Martin DB9 features significant enhancements to the critically acclaimed model, with a revised 6.0 litre V12 engine producing an increased power of 470bhp (350kW) and peak torque of 600Nm. The power to weight ratio is 267bhp per tonne (199kW/tonne) higher than the existing Aston Martin DB9. Top speed has been increased to a lightning-fast 190mph (306km/h), while accelerating from 0-60mph is quicker with both Manual and Touchtronic transmission; the former in 4.6 seconds and the latter in 4.6 seconds. Chassis developments have been made to improve ride quality, with Bilstein dampers, revised upper suspension arms and retuned suspension bushes. Furthermore, the Aston Martin DB9 Volante has seen an increase in torsional rigidity by 10% due to revisions to the front shear panel.
