The Aston Martin V12 Vantage RS concept takes the popular Aston Martin V8 Vantage coupe to the next level. The design and engineering team leveraged the unique VH architecture and the 6.0 litre V12 engine to create a concept car that is truly focused on extreme performance and dynamics.
In a speech to the guests, Ulrich Bez spoke of the concept's feasibility, and how the company is willing to consider a low volume production run if there is enough demand. He also proudly pointed to the fact that the company has the resources and design studio to bring new projects to life and establish Aston Martin as a top independent luxury sports car manufacturer.
The 600bhp power of the V12 Vantage follows in the footsteps of the Aston Martin DBS. To optimize efficiency and performance, a weight reduction of less than 1600 kg was achieved. This weight reduction was achieved with the use of carbon fibre for the bonnet and trunk lid, and carbon ceramic brake discs for motor sport inspiration.
