Aston Martin V12 Zagato Concept
Aston Martin recently revealed the all-new Aston Martin V12 Zagato endurance racer concept at the 2011 Villa D'Este Concours in Italy. In honor of their fifty-year partnership, Aston Martin and Zagato drew inspiration from their past iconic cars, such as the DB4GT Zagato, V8 Vantage Zagato, and DB7 Zagato, to design a modern descendent of the Vantage range: the V12 Vantage.
Dr Ulrich Bez, CEO of Aston Martin, said: “The Zagato design language is a perfect complement to our design and engineering expertise. Throughout the 50 years we have been associated with each other, our partnership has created some of the world's most iconic cars. Of course, in the past Italian design houses dictated many of the new designs, but now we can use our independency and in-house design ability to create works of art, like this new venture with Zagato.”
