Aston Martin V8 Zagato
The iconic Aston Martin V8 Zagato made its debut at the Geneva Auto Show in 1985. Intended for a limited run of only 50, the appeal of the design drew buyers in and all copies were purchased on the basis of only drawings and a scale model. Three prototypes appeared in 1986, and a year later the Aston Martin V8 Zagato Volante made its debut. It was originally offered as a run of 25, though higher demand increased the total to 37. Styling changes on the Volante included the flip-up headlight covers and the removal of the hood bulge, due to a less powerful engine.
