The Audi A3 e-tron concept is an attractive four-seat notchback sedan that packs the full breadth of the brand's technological expertise. From the enhanced MMI operating system and high-end infotainment system to the innovative drivetrain, the plug-in hybrid delivers an impressive electric range of 54 km (34 miles) and excellent fuel efficiency.
Design and Body
This striking car will turn heads with its sporty, elegant styling. Its proportions, measuring 4.44 meters (14.57 ft) long, 1.84 meters (6.04 ft) wide and 1.39 meters (4.56 ft) high, accentuate its dynamic character. The single-frame grille integrates into the front end, sporting a frame made of carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) and transverse, three-dimensional aluminum louvers for a wide-reaching aesthetic effect.
The A3 e-tron concept is also ahead of the curve when it comes to lighting technology, offering headlights that use LED and appear to hover on air thanks to the line below them. Above the front spoiler is a full-length air intake in CFRP, framed by a metal clasp that increases the downforce on the front wheels.
