The A6 models have embraced sharp lines and emphasized horizontals, resulting in an athletically taut surface that expresses both precision and sporty elegance. The Singleframe grille, the headlights, air inlets, bumpers, side sills, rear lights and tailpipes have been fine-tuned and perfected, and Audi even provide optional LEDs and Matrix LED technology, combined with dynamic turn signals.
Using an intelligent composite construction concept, the body of the A6 models is specially designed to be extremely rigid and safe. It combines aluminum and hot-shaped steel components for an overall lighter weight; the new A6 1.8 TFSI weighs just 1,535 kilograms (3384.1 lb). Cabin noise is low and creaks and rattles are kept to a minimum, making it very silent while driving.
