Audi A7 Sportback 3.0 TDI competition
Audi is celebrating the 25th anniversary of TDI technology with a powerful special edition model - the Audi A7 Sportback 3.0 TDI competition. It is capable of delivering 240 kW (326 hp) with a torque of 650 Nm (479.4 lb-ft), and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62.1 mph) in 5.1 seconds with the help of its 3.0 TDI biturbo clean diesel engine. This power comes with just 6.1 liters of fuel for every 100 kilometers (38.6 US mpg) and a low Euro 6 emissions rating.
A sporty look to the exterior is provided by the S line sport package with a 20mm (0.8 in) body drop and 20 inch five-spoke W design wheels in black with 265/35 tires, along with red brake calipers and discs, black exterior mirror housings, high-gloss black tailpipe trims and V6 T emblems on the fenders. The special edition model is also available in Daytona Gray, Misano Red, Nardo Gray and Sepang Blue paint work.
The interior is designed in black and in the style of the S line sport package with fine Valcona leather and S line embossing on the sport seats, and the option of contrast stitching in Misano Red or Agate Gray. The inlays are made of aluminium and Beaufort wood in black, while the shift paddles on the multifunction sport steering wheel offer manual control of the 8-speed tiptronic.
This special edition model carries all the features already introduced in the revised A7 model series such as LED headlights and turn signals, plus Matrix LED headlights, MMI Navigation plus and driver assistance systems as optional extras. Customers can purchase the Audi A7 Sportback 3.0 TDI competition starting in early August 2014, with a base price of 72,000 euros.
