Audi A8 3.2 FSI quattro
The Audi A8 (Typ 4E) was unveiled in 2002, introducing a larger model to the lineup, capable of fitting four or five adults in its cabin. The design process began in 1997, with the development of six exterior clay models. Of those, two were chosen as the final design in late 1998, and further refinement was made to them in 1999. During this time, the interior design was also worked in parallel, with four full size models made. In 2001, the Multi Media Interface (MMI) was put in place, and the instrument panel was designed with the driver's convenience in mind. With the work of several contributing designers, the Audi A8 was made to have maximum comfort and interior style.
