Audi A8 L 6.0 W12 quattro

The second-generation Audi A8 (Typ 4E) was unveiled in 2002 and subsequently released in Europe and in 2003 in the United States. It had room for four or five passengers, depending on the rear seat configuration. The development of the car began in 1996 and its design process was completed in 1999. To ensure the quality of its exterior and interior, the Audi design studio had created six full-size clay models and three 1/4 scale models. The internal features of the Audi A8 were crafted to provide a driver-focused experience with groupings of major controls near the driver. Intimate details such as the Multi Media Interface (MMI) were taken into account to craft an airy and spacious interior. The instrument panel was designed with a horizontal theme, and colour and trim were aided by Barbara Krömeke and Melinda Jenkins. Jurgen Albamonte headed the team of designers, and with all of the components, the Audi A8 was a completed work of art.
