The Audi Pikes Peak Quattro concept car was unveiled at the 2003 North American International Auto Show, and is named after the renowned Pikes Peak off-roading mountain in the United States. This vehicle is powered by a twin-turbocharged V8 engine, generating a top-tier 500 horsepower and 464 1/2 pound-feet of torque. This tech-savvy vehicle boasts a 0-60 mph acceleration in under 4 1/2 seconds, and a top speed of 155.4 mph (250 km/h). Design-wise, the Pikes Peak Quattro is made for off-road use, with its high ground clearance and Power Assist steering rack and pinion technology for ease of maneuverability.
