Audi Q3 Jinlong Yufeng Concept
At Auto China 2012 in Beijing, Audi is introducing two special versions of the
Q3 — the Q3 jinlong yufeng and the
RS Q3 concept — to showcase the features of the upcoming compact SUV model. The jinlong yufeng is inspired by kitesurfing, with two kiteboards made of carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) mounted to the roof. An outdoor pouch installed as a cargo floor liner can be used for dirty/wet items, as a sun umbrella, or as a seat cover, and a kite pouch has been specially designed to stow away the kite. The left side wall of the cargo space also holds two "Audi Cams" —rugged, compact fun sport cameras. Besides commemorating the year of the dragon, the Jinlong yufeng reflects the daring and adventurous spirit of the fearless sport. The RS Q3 concept, on the other hand, captures the dynamism of the vehicle with its purposeful design.
