Audi Q7 Hybrid Concept 2005 posters

Audi Q7 Hybrid Concept

Audi proudly presented its first hybrid vehicle powered by an FSI direct-injection petrol engine at the 2005 International Motor Show in Frankfurt. The Audi Q7 hybrid concept study packs an impressive 257 kW (350 bhp) and 440 Newton metres of torque along with a 200 Nm electric motor. As expected, the SUV is equipped with quattro permanent four-wheel drive to make full use of the power and torque of the engine. An advanced 6-speed tiptronic transmission transfers the power to the wheels, allowing the Audi Q7 hybrid to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 6.8 seconds, and from 80-120 km/h in 5th gear in 7 seconds. Ensuring maximum performance and efficiency is the intelligent energy management system featured in the Q7 hybrid. Fuel consumption is only 12.0 litres per 100 kilometres – nearly 13 percent lower than the standard-production model – demonstrating just how effective this advanced energy management system is.
