Audi RS4 Cabriolet
The 2008 Audi RS4 and its convertible Cabriolet counterpart are the latest creations of Audi AG's performance tuning quattro GmbH division. Both models are filled with innovations to deliver outstanding performance on road or track. Specifically new in 2008 is the Audi RS4 Cabriolet, limited to production of only around 300 vehicles. Additionally, two option packages for the sedan are also available this year: the Titanium package and the Audi Exclusive interior package.
The Titanium package includes a black grille, black window trimming, titanium-colored alloy wheels, exhaust tips, and mirrors plus piano black interior trim and mats with red piping and "RS4" logo. For those looking for something sportier, the Audi Exclusive interior package features red leather seat centers (with black leather side bolsters and head rests), red seat and floor mat piping with red stitching on the shift boot, hand brake, seats, and steering wheel, plus piano black interior trim with the RS4 logo and an Audi Exclusive badging. This option is not available in Sprint and Mugello blue Audi RS4 models.
Under the hood of each Audi RS4 is a 420-hp naturally aspirated V8 engine powered by FSI direct injection technology, first tested in the Le Mans-winning Audi R8 prototype race car. The "RS" designation, featured on each of these vehicles, stands for incredible performance, technological advancement, motorsports heritage, and exhilarating driving dynamics.
