Audi RS6 Sedan

The Audi C5 RS6 sedan is a four-door, five-seat version of the Audi C5 platform (1997-2004). It is a modified version of C5 S6 (derived from the Audi C5 A6), and uses the same aluminum structure and V8 engine as the C6 A6. It was first released in 2002 and produced until 2004. According to official performance figures, the 0-100km/h sprint is achieved in 4.6 seconds while its electronically limited top speed is 250km/h. Tests done on "RS" models have shown a top speed of 270km/h is achievable. The RS6 comes with a large luggage capacity of 424 litres for the sedan, or 455 litres to 1,590 litres for the Avant (with rear seats folded down). Under the hood, the C5 RS6 uses an all-aluminum alloy 4.2-litre 90° V8 petrol engine with twin-turbochargers (manufactured by quattro GmbH and Cosworth Technology). This provides a power output of 331 kilowatts (450 PS; 444 bhp) at 5,700 to 6,400 rpm and 580 newton metres (428 lbf·ft) of torque. The wide power band is aided by a variable inlet valve timing and the two turbochargers (each one for each cylinder bank). However, using regular 95 RON "Premium" unleaded petrol will reduce the power output and subsequent performance.
