Audi Roadjet Concept
Audi is introducing a study car called the Roadjet Concept at the North American International Automobile Show. This four-door fastback saloon's styling consists of a distinctive new interpretation of Audi design with a dynamic wedge-shaped nose featuring the iconic single-frame grille and two large air inlets at the front. Its powerful, high shoulders and large window area create an impression of lightness and spaciousness. Along the side, a dynamic line and shoulder line define a horizontal look and assert a strong emphasis on the road. At the back, wide wheel arches, a trapezoidal tailgate, and a diffuser below the bumper emphasize this car's sporty character.
Under the hood, the Roadjet Concept is equipped with a 3.2 FSI engine that produces 300 bhp, and the Audi Sporty 7-Speed Direct Shift Gearbox. Its drive technology demonstrates a synthesis of performance, liveliness, and efficiency. This concept vehicle is also a technology demonstrator of innovative electronic systems that will eventually find use in production models.
