Audi Shooting Brake Concept 2005 posters

Audi Shooting Brake Concept

Audi is showcasing a captivating concept in the sporty compact segment at the 2005 Tokyo Motor Show: the Shooting Brake Concept. It combines Audi's current formal idiom with ample dynamism of a sports car, complemented with ample spaciousness and superior functionality. Equipped with a 250 bhp, 3.2-liter six-cylinder engine, and Quattro permanent four-wheel drive, the Shooting Brake Concept accelerates to 100 km/h in 6 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h. At the front, one can spot the iconic Single-frame radiator grille surrounded by chrome-platted, horizontal slats, and complemented with assertive air inlets on the side. The vehicle's facial character pays homage to Audi's current A4 racing models in the DTM and the Audi RSQ concept. The rear end is marked by the upward sweeping line behind the back window and the prominent C-post, together with the flat trapezoid rear window and curved luggage compartment lid, creating a crouched look as if it were ready to make a jump. In addition to its eye-catching design, the Shooting Brake Concept offers several technical breakthroughs like an adaptive damping system with Audi magnetic ride, a touchscreen navigation system plus with character recognition, and LED headlights. It also comes in Bionic White pearl effect paint.
