Audi Sport quattro
The Audi Sport Quattro was produced as a limited-edition vehicle in 1984 in order to qualify for Group B rallying. It was equipped with an all-aluminium alloy 2.1-litre 20-valve DOHC engine that could produce 225 kilowatts (kW), while the competition cars were equipped with 331 kW. The Sport Quattro also featured a body shell composed of carbon-kevlar, wider arches and wheels (nine inches), a steeper windscreen rake, and its wheelbase was shortened by 320 millimetres. In total, 224 cars were built and sold at a high price of 203,850 German Marks.
