Audi TT GT4 Concept

At the DTM race in Shanghai, Audi unveiled the concept of a GT4 car that draws from the Audi TT. To extend Audi's modular customer sport programme, the TT GT4 is intended to be an accessible entry point into motorsport. The vehicle has a motorsport body with a roll-over cage, a safety-optimized fuel tank box, and other modifications that will remain uniform across all future customer sport iterations. Designed with a TFSI engine delivering approximately 250 kW (340 hp), it features a front apron, rear apron, and rear wing from the Audi TT RS. Composite materials are used in its construction; CFRP for the hood, doors, and trunk lid, and plastic for the windows. The TT GT4 has a S-tronic transmission, a modified production suspension with adjustable dampers, and 9.5 x 18 inch lightweight alloy wheels.

Priced at around 120,000 euros, Audi is targeting the Asian market for the TT GT4. To mark their expansion into China, the Audi TT made an appearance at the street circuit in Shanghai, with five-time Le Mans winner Frank Biela as a driver. In addition, the SP4T version of the TT RS and the Audi R8 LMS were also on display.
