Bentley Arnage
The 2007 Model Year Arnage range from luxury car manufacturer Bentley Motors is the result of a major programme of powertrain and chassis enhancements, including the most powerful version of Bentley's legendary V8 engine ever built. The flagship Arnage T model now sports a twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing up to 500bhp and 1000Nm of torque - an 11 percent increase in power and 14 percent increase in torque compared to the previous model. This is complemented by a six-speed ZF automatic transmission using computer management to optimize performance and refinement. This same engine in the Arnage R and RL models respectively produces a power output of 450bhp and 875Nm of torque.
Externally, the Arnage has subtle design changes, while the interior of the RL features major improvements to the rear passenger cabin. According to Stuart McCullough, Member of the Board Sales and Marketing, the solutions adopted are necessary to ensure the Bentley flagship model remains at the forefront of technology, delivering superior performance, comfort and luxury.
