Bentley has added the pinnacle of performance-focussed luxury to its esteemed Continental family of Grand Tourers with the introduction of the limited-edition Continental GT3-R. A model inspired by the Continental GT3 race car that won at Silverstone, the UK’s first hopes of Bentley victory in 84 years. With just 300 cars produced, this is an incredibly exclusive car.
Every Continental GT3-R will be hand-crafted in Bentley's Motorsport division and powered by a retuned version of Bentley's 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine. It produces 580 PS (572 bhp / 426 kW) and 700 Nm of torque, enhanced further with a weight reduction of 100 kg and shorter gearing, resulting in the fastest-accelerating Bentley ever, with a 0-100 km/h time of 3.8 seconds.
The Continental GT3-R also features a further development of Bentley's renowned all-wheel drive system, including torque vectoring, plus a tweaked Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and optimised chassis for supreme cornering power. With its improved powertrain and sleek design, the Continental GT3-R is the most dynamic and responsive Bentley road car ever.
