To further optimize performance and fuel economy, the seven-speed double-clutch gearbox (DKG) is optionally available from March 2010. This transmission boasts Sport Automatic, allowing for smooth, no-delay shifting. The top engine option of both the convertible and coupe deliver 225 kW/306 hp at 5,800 rpm and peak torque of 400 Newton-metres/295 lb-ft available from just 1,200 rpm to 5,000 rpm, allowing for instant and direct power and an affinity for speed.
