BMW 330i
The BMW E90/E91/E92/E93 series is the fifth generation of the BMW 3 Series range of compact executive cars, produced from 2004 to 2013. There are four body styles: 4-door sedan/saloon (E90 model code), estate/wagon (E91 model code, marketed as "Touring"), coupé (E92 model code), and cabriolet (E93 model code). This is sometimes referred to as the E9X generation.
In 2006, the 335i became the first 3 Series model with a turbocharged petrol engine. The E90 also introduced run-flat tyres to the 3 Series. In 2012, the E90/E91 sedans and wagons were replaced by the BMW F30/F31 models, while the E92/E93 coupes and cabriolets remained in production until 2013, with their replacements being the BMW F32/F33 models.
The E90/E92/E93 M3 had a BMW S65 v8 engine and was released in 2007 with sedan, coupe and cabriolet body styles.
The saloon model of the E90 was the first to be released of the fifth generation BMW 3 series. It was released in the US in 2005 as a 2006 model. It came in two trims: the 325i/xi and 330i/xi. These models were later joined by the 3 Series lineup to receive a larger engine with the 2007 328i/xi and 335i/xi models, which featured a 3.0L twin-turbo inline-6 engine.
The Canadian 3 Series had an additional trim in the 323i RWD sedan. It was the base model, having none of the amenities that the more expensive models had, (Xenon headlamps, fog lamps, automatic climate control, power-adjustable seats, satellite navigation, premium audio, and Dakota leather upholstery). Options such as a glass sunroof, heated front seats, Bluetooth, and USB input are optional for the 323i, but are standard for the other trims. In 2011, the BMW 323i Luxury Edition was released, which included an automatic transmission, 17-inch alloy wheels, electric front seats, Bluetooth and USB compatibility, and an electric glass sunroof.
