BMW 530i
The BMW 530i, the top-of-the-line variant of the BMW 5 Series (E39) manufactured from 1995 to 2003, provides powerful performance and offers luxurious features. This series, which was the successor of the BMW 5 Series (E34), saw a mid-generational refresh in 2000 with minor details changes. It was powered by a 126-kilowatt (170 hp) engine. Moreover, an M5 variant was introduced in 1998 comprising a 4.9-litre S62 V8 engine.
With the development of the E34’s successor starting in 1989, all models except the M5 were available as a saloon or an estate. The design by Joji Nagashima was chosen in 1992 and later production under Chris Bangle began in 1995. Standard features included dual front and side airbags, anti-lock brakes, traction control, power steering, and air conditioning.
