BMW 530xi Touring

The BMW E60/E61 series is the fifth generation of the BMW 5 Series, and it was sold from 2003 to 2010. It featured a sedan body style, with the "Touring" (wagon/estate) body style offered as an option from 2004. Many remarkable features, such as a rounder body, a flat interior, and the brand's then-innovative iDrive system, were included in the new series; however, it was with the release of the M5 variant in 2005 that the series really shined, presenting drivers with the high-power S85 V10 engine and a 7-speed automated manual transmission (called "SMG III"). Development of the E60 began back in 1997 and was finalized in 2003. The style of the car, designed by Davide Arcangeli and overseen by Chris Bangle, was eventually patented in 2002. Once released, the E60 was lauded for its improvements on the E39 series, being much longer, wider, heavier, and higher than its predecessor while maintaining its interior and trunk space. The popularity of the E60 has also spurred an abundance of aftermarket parts, including copies of M-Sport parts. Hamann, AC Schnitzer, Hartge, and Dinan are just some of the brands that have flooded the market with parts for the E60, allowing drivers to customize their car more affordably than with the original parts. Furthermore, many after market performance parts are available, giving drivers an array of options to boost their car's power.
