Brabus E V12 Coupe

At the Geneva Motor Show 2010, the Brabus E V12 Coupe was unveiled to the world as the fastest Gran Tourismo. Built in small-series production and based on the Mercedes E-Class Coupe, this luxurious 2+2-seater vehicle is powered by a powerful Brabus SV12 R Biturbo 800 twelve-cylinder engine, capable of producing 800 hp (788 bhp) / 588 kW and a peak torque of 1,420 Nm (1,047 lb-ft). Certified by the German Federal Vehicle Registration Agency (Kraftfahrtbundesamt) as an automobile manufacturer, this high performance car has a maximum speed of 370 km/h (230 mph) and is available from 478,000 Euros MSRP. With decades of experience in developing and building high-performance cars, the engineers have managed to fit the mighty twelve-cylinder engine into the engine bay of the two-door E-Class. The engine is taken from the latest Mercedes 600 models and modified with a special crankshaft, larger cylinder bore and larger pistons to increase the displacement from 5.5 to 6.3 liters (336 to 384 cu. in.). In addition, both three-valve cylinder heads are optimized for mixture flow and sport camshafts are installed. The fourth-generation Brabus E V12 sedan is also powered by the same Brabus SV12 R Biturbo 800 engine.
