Brabus E V12 Coupe

At the Geneva Motor Show 2010, Brabus launched the world's fastest Grand Touring car – the Brabus E V12 Coupe. This luxurious 2+2-seater, based on the new Mercedes E-Class Coupe, is created in a small-scale production and equipped with a Brabus SV12 R Biturbo 800 twelve-cylinder power unit, producing 800 hp (788 bhp) / 588 kW of power and a peak torque of 1,420 Nm (1,047 lb-ft). As an automobile manufacturer officially recognized by the German Federal Vehicle Registration Agency (Kraftfahrtbundesamt), Brabus offers this high-performance coupe, with speeds exceeding 370 km/h (230 mph), starting at 478,000 Euros MSRP. The Brabus E V12 Coupe follows a similar approach as its predecessor – the fourth-generation Brabus E V12 sedan. Its heart is the same twelve-cylinder engine – the Brabus SV12 R Biturbo 800 – but it was specifically adapted to fit in the engine bay of the two-door coupe. This remarkable power unit is derived from the latest Mercedes 600 models and, due to the displacement increased from 5.5 to 6.3 liters (336 to 384 cu. in.) through a special crankshaft, larger cylinder bore and larger pistons, it is able to unleash even more power and torque. Both three-valve cylinder heads are optimized for the maximum mixture flow, intercoolers were enlarged and enhanced and sport camshafts are fitted for higher engine performance.
