Brabus Mercedes-Benz CLS B63 S
Designed to provide more power, BRABUS presents its B63 S engine tuning, which increases the power output of the 6.2-liter V8 to 550 hp / 404 kW and peak torque to 650 Nm. This gives the CLS 63 AMG car with B63 S tuning the power and performance to match that of a true super sports car––accelerating to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds and reaching a top speed of 330 km/h.
The BRABUS power kit includes specially programmed engine electronics with mapping for injection and ignition, a sport air filter for improved supply of combustion air, and high-performance metal catalysts to reduce back pressure while still complying with EURO IV emission limits. BRABUS recommends the BRABUS locking differential for all Mercedes 63 models with rear wheel drive to best manage the increased power.
For the ML 63, its B63 S tuning gives it a sprint time of 4.9 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h with a top speed of 275 km/h, when combined with the BRABUS V/max unit. With the increased power and performance, appropriate modifications can be made to tires, suspension, and brakes––such as tire/wheel combinations up to 11Jx23, a control module for the ABC suspension to lower ride height by 20 millimeters, BRABUS sport stabilizers to reduce body roll and improve turn-in, and a high-performance brake system for maximum stopping power.
