Brabus Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe
The new
Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe is now available, and Brabus has prepared a comprehensive tuning program for the two-door. The flagship of the performances of this program is the Brabus 6.1 engine, which delivers an impressive 462 hp (456 bhp) / 340 kW. This result in acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.7 seconds, hitting a top speed of 315 km/h (196 mph). Additionally, Brabus offers an aerodynamic package designed in a wind tunnel and custom made wheels of up to 20-inch, suspension adjusting options and special interiors.
The upgrades for the V8 engine from 5.5 to 6.1 liters provides 615 Nm (453 lb-ft) of peak torque at 3,100 rpm and comes at a cost of 29,000 Euros. It includes a billet crankshaft with a longer stroke and bigger pistons, along with its four-valve cylinder heads, precision-machined with custom cams. Complementing this, the Brabus exhaust system with high-performance metal catalysts, as well as remapped engine electronics, make up the full package.
