Brabus Mercedes-Benz SLR Roadster
Boasting state-of-the-art aerodynamics, engine tuning and custom-tailored wheels, the BRABUS Mercedes-Benz SLR Roadster is the sportiest drop-top Mercedes of all time. To ensure optimal handling and performance, BRABUS have developed and fitted a front spoiler to the stock bumper, along with a BRABUS diffuser which replaces its production counterpart. The BRABUS Monoblock VI 20-inch Platinum Edition wheels further enhance the SLR's sporty aesthetic, and are mounted with high-performance tires supplied by BRABUS technology partners, Pirelli and YOKOMAMA.
To give the SLR even more power, BRABUS are also offering a special clutch-type limited-slip differential and a tuning kit for the 5.5-liter supercharged engine. This kit consists of special camshafts and a fuel-cooling system, which increases power output by 24 hp / 18 kW to 650 hp (641 hp SAE net) / 478 kW at 6,500 rpm.
When it comes to the interior, the BRABUS SLR Roadster is all about exclusivity. Featuring luxurious lipstick-red leather and black Alcantara with waffle-pattern stitching, it also includes a BRABUS sport steering wheel with buttons integrated into the spokes for manually shifting the gears of the SLR's automatic transmission without taking the hands off the wheel. Last but not least, the cockpit design is finished off with BRABUS carbon-fiber components which are color-coordinated with the leather color upon customer request.
