Breckland Beira

On June 9 2008, Breckland Technology will unveil their latest exclusive two-seat V8 soft top, the Breckland Beira, at London Motorexpo in Canary Wharf, London. Breckland, part of Hong Kong-based multi-national, Riche Holdings, is experienced in the development and production of high-quality, low volume specialist cars and prototypes for prestigious international clients. The Beira is a hand-built, two-seat roadster with unique styling cues, based off of GM architecture and powered by GM's LS2, 6-litre V8 engine, tuned to produce close to 400bhp. Weighing in at just 1,400kg, the Beira accelerates quickly from 0-100kph in under five seconds, coming with a top speed of 155mph. According to Breaking Director, Mike Rawlings, the Beira has been designed for “maximum performance for money spent, and real individuality”, considering environmental concerns as the Beira is capable of running on Liquefied Petroleum Gas as well as petrol. With an impressive range of up to 700 miles between refuelling stops, it's the equivalent of a non-stop drive from the north to the south coast of France.
