Bugatti EB 18-4 Veyron Concept

At the 2014 Salon Rétromobile trade fair in Paris, the French super sports car brand Bugatti unveiled the Bugatti EB 18/4 “Veyron” design study. It had made its debut at the 1999 Tokyo Motor Show, causing a sensation at the time. This project would soon become the ultimate expression of exceptional power, performance, luxury, and exclusivity, the Bugatti Veyron 16.4. It was named after Pierre Veyron, a racing driver for the brand who triumphed at the 24 Heures du Mans in 1939. The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 made its market debut in 2005 and was quickly followed by the Veyron 16.4 Super Sport, which holds the world speed record of 431.072 km/h, and a series run of only 300 vehicles. Since 2011, all of these have been sold out. The brand’s portfolio also includes the open-top Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport and the powerful Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse, which can reach 1,200 PS and is the world's fasted series production roadster. Both roadsters come with a series run of only 150 vehicles. As of early 2014, around 40 of them were still available.
