Bugatti Veyron Meo Costantini

The third model in Bugatti's six-part edition "Les Légendes de Bugatti", which is based on the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse, was presented at the 2013 Dubai International Motor Show. This Legend car pays homage to Meo Costantini, Bugatti's founder Ettore Bugatti's close friend and a prominent figure in the company's history, especially due to winning the Targa Florio two times in the Bugatti Type 35. This luxury car features an 8-liter W16 engine with an outrageous torque of 1,500 Nm from 1,200 hp at 3,000-5,000 rpm, allowing it to go from 0-100 km (0-62 mph) in an astonishing 2.6 seconds. With the roof down, a speed record of 408.84 km (253 MPH) was set in April 2013, making this model the fastest convertible ever built. The "Meo Costantini" edition is priced at €2.09 million, excluding taxes and transport. A limited run of three cars was produced for it. Exterior As the body of the Veyron is mostly constructed of carbon fiber, a new paint color "Bugatti Dark Blue Sport" was specially developed for this model, paying tribute to the french classic motor sport color, and to the Type 35. The aluminium wings, doors, parts behind the doors, "medaillons" and corners of the front bumper were hand-polished and coated with a clear lacquer. This features two different paint finishes, making it especially eye-catching. It is also the only production vehicles with polished clear-coated aluminium bodywork.
