Bugatti Veyron Pur Sang

Visitors to the Atelier in Molsheim are often mesmerized when witnessing the elaborately assembled high-tech components of the Bugatti Veyron. This gave the designers the inspiration to showcase the true form of their automotive work of art with the creation of the EB 16.4. Veyron "Pur Sang". Both performance power and cruising comfort are radiating from the two-tone study of pure carbon and aluminium material. The carbon monocoque can be seen through the clear-coating, acting as the foundation for the engine, passenger cell, crash box, and linkages to the wheels. While the body sculpture is defined by the polished aluminium panelling, creating muscular and powerful fenders. These details even more strongly emphasize the dual nature of the car when viewed from above, taking on an abstract art form similar to that of a Mondrian painting. The sophisticated design of the Pur Sang pays homage to a similar division of performance components and body panelling from the classic cars of the Bugatti past, such as the "Atalante", the Type 55, and the Type 41 "Royal". With no colour coating, this individualized customer car stands alone in the supercar world.
