Buick Park Avenue 2001 posters

Buick Park Avenue Ultra

The Buick Park Avenue Ultra was a luxury sedan that offered an even more powerful engine than the regular version. The supercharged V6 produced 205-240 horsepower, compared to 170-205 hp in the regular Park Avenue. Prices for these sedans ranged from $34,705 for the regular and $39,225 for the Ultra. The Park Avenue was released in an updated version in 1997 and was installed with the Buick Riviera's G-body platform. As a result, the car was stronger and more reliable than before. The Park Avenue also looked more modern and featured various minor updates. From 1997 until 2005, the 3800 engine remained the only power plant available. Unfortunately, the Park Avenue was discontinued in 2006 and replaced by the Buick Lucerne, which also serves as a replacement for the smaller Buick LeSabre.
