Buick Regal
The 2011 Buick Regal offers superior performance compared to its rivals, with turbocharged power, a driver-selectable suspension system, and a firm, European-tuned chassis. Susan Docherty, General Manager of Buick GMC, declares that this vehicle will take Buick's transformation to an entirely new level. With its launch in the second quarter of 2010, the Regal is targeting the Acura TSX and Volvo S60, offering a longer wheelbase, greater trunk capacity, and standard features such as a six-speed automatic transmission, 18-inch wheels, and OnStar.
At the heart of the Buick Regal is the globally led engineering team's award-winning Opel Insignia - the 2009 European Car of the Year. Achieving more than 31 distinctions and Europe's best-selling midsize sedan, the Regal is set to bring all the Insignia's features, design, engineering, and performance capabilities to the United States.
In December of 2008, the Regal arrived in China and has since sold over 64,000 vehicles, receiving praise for its sculpted design and responsive performance.
