Buick Regal GS Concept

The Buick Regal GS Concept boasts an impressive estimated 255 turbocharged horsepower (190 kW) paired with a six-speed manual transmission and adaptive all-wheel-drive system. It was unveiled at the 2010 North American International Auto Show, offering a spirited and comfortable driving experience. Its performance-oriented features include a lowered body and center of gravity, two additional vertical front air intakes, large, forged aluminum 20-inch wheels, performance tires, a racing-inspired sport steering wheel, metal pedals, and Recaro high-performance front seats with four-way lumbar support and cushion extensions. Craig Bierley, product marketing director for Buick, noted that the Regal GS was developed to explore the brand's Gran Sport legacy. Exterior design elements consist of vertical air inlets in the front fascia, unique rocker panels, an integrated rear spoiler, dual exhaust outlets, Olympic White paint, and satin metallic accents. The Regal GS is derived from the renowned Opel Insignia.
