The Vortec H.O. 6000 V-8 engine offers a solid 345 hp (257 kw) at 5200 rpm and 380 lb.-ft. of torque (515 Nm) at 4000 rpm, more than enough to take you up even the sharpest of grades and tow a heavy two-horse trailer. The classic Escalade exterior design is carried over to the Escalade ESV, including the advanced-technology features that place the Escalade in the top of the full-size luxury utility market. Features such as the AWD and StabiliTrak with Road Sensing Suspension (RSS), the Ultrasonic Rear Parking Assist, OnStar, XM Satellite Radio (continental U.S. only), the premium Bose sound system, the Bvlgari-designed analog clock, and much more are included in the vehicle. It also has an available rear seat DVD system and a DVD-based navigation system that provides turn-by-turn directions to thousands of points of interest.
